19 Wie Politik auch ausschauen könnte: Mehr zum Ansatz des indischen Weisen Maharishi (Inhalt Rundmail)

....sehr geehrte/r Adressat/in! Auch wenn wir sie mit einem gewissen Sportsgeist betrachten - vgl. das zuletzt auch erwähnte Tänzchen mit dem Zeitgeist. Der eine seit nunmehr 35 Jahren in der Gefolgschaft des unlängst im Alter von über 90 Jahren verstorbenen indischen Weisen Maharishi Mahesh Yogi lebend und sich ungemein bereichert sehend durch das, was ihm von diesem an Zugewinn der Erkenntnis und Lebensqualität vermittelt worden ist; der andere, sein Klassenkamerad, aus seiner, anders ansetzenden Meditationserfahrung heraus immer wieder zu weitestgehend deckungsgleichen Ansichten gelangend. Etwa auch den Regierungsstil betreffend, so, wie er von dem genannten TM-Lehrer den Politikern nahegelegt wird. Der seine Auffasssungen nie korrigieren, sondern immer nur weiter aufbauend ergänzen konnte, dabei gestützt auf eine permanent sich bestätigende Erfahrung.

Diese Aussage eines Mitglieds im Rektorat der ETH Zürich zu dem Selbstverständnis dieser Einrichtung und der von ihr betriebenen Wissenschaftspolitik - heute im Reiseteil der HAZ gebracht - lässt sich auch auf die Schrift "Maharishi's absolute theory of government - Automation in Administration" beziehen. Insofern nämlich, als es hier, abweichend von dem implizit in der Aussage auch steckenden Anhäufen von Faktenwissen, um die Erlangung einer immer klareren Sicht auf die für das Leben und seinen Erfolg konstitutiven Elemente geht. In der vor allem aber auch ein solcher Aufforderungscharakter steckt, wie er in dem üblichen Wissenschaftsbetrieb überhaupt nicht mehr in seiner Wertigkeit wahrgenommen werden kann.

Kurz: In ihr wird dargestellt, wie sich sowohl das Leistungspotential des Individuums als auch die Harmonie im gesamtgesellschaftlichen Gefüge optimieren lässt - mittels einer ganz einfachen Bewusstseinstechnik, der Transzendentalen Meditation. Insbesondere die Politik täte gut daran, wenn sie vermehrt auf das in der Schrift angebotene Instrumentarium zurückgriffe, um bei ihren Operationen wirksam ansetzen und das Gemeinwesen insgesamt in eine größere Höhe der Entwicklung führen zu können. Was dafür verantwortlich ist: der Umstand, dass auf dem bezeichneten Wege die naturgesetzlich verankerten Mechanismen allen wirksamen und erfolgreichen Handelns zum Zuge und zum Tragen kommen.

Die fragliche Schrift weist ganz deutlich und unmissverständlich in e i n e Richtung - bei allem, was in dem Begründungszusammenhang gebracht wird. Und unterscheidet sich damit ganz wesentlich von dem, was in dem Wissenschaftsbetrieb sonst so üblich ist. Sie legt insbesondere dar, wie aus einer mentalen Verfassung heraus, die im Englischen als 'state of least involvement' bezeichnet wird, kreativ an die Gestaltung der Wirklichkeit herangegangen werden kann, so, dass auch beim Regieren an die Stelle eines circulus vitiosus ein circulus virtuosus tritt. Und bei einem selbst wie auch in der Umgebung eine Maschine zu laufen beginnt, die sich selbst ölt - allerdings ganz anders als noch unter dem 27.02.d.J. vorgestellt. Alles, wie gesagt, mittels einer ganz einfachen Bewusstseinstechnik. Dazu hier, in einen Rahmen gestellt, einige sehr wichtige Statements - zu finden in der fraglichen Schrift auf den Seiten 59 - 66 [Der Folgetext ohne die in der Rundmail gewählten Hervorhebungen durch Unterstreichung und Fettdruck].

"Administration is a spiritual practice. In its essence it is the theme to promote enlightenment to all. Any government following this natural theme of administration will enjoy its most laudable parental role for the whole population, will be able to satisfy everyone, and will enjoy long life in fulfilment. Lack of enlightenment, lack of functioning in accordance with Natural Law, in accordance with Nature's Government, brings about and promotes an non-evolutionary quality in the collective consciousness of the nation....
Government begins to display non-evolutionary tendencies - national life is thrown off balance - administration ceases to be a pious practice, it ceases to be a spiritual praxis, it ceases to be an enlightening practice. It ceases to serve its purpose, but instead of promoting evolutionary and orderly progress, it promotes destruction and chaos. With the programme for every government laid out in this Absolute Theory of Government, national consciousness will always remain supported by the invincible power of Natural Law.....
Since national consciousness is the collective consciousness of all the individuals of the nation, it is ultimately the consciousness of the individual that is the prime mover of the nation and sharpes its destiny.....
Although the members of every government have their own individuality and their own opinion of the nation's needs, while engaged in the process of governing, their actions are determined by factors beyond their personal lives - by the collective destiny of their nation. Now with world consciousness rising in coherence, the leaders of every nation will be able to maintain their real leadership role, the role of a flawless guide, only if they themselves rise to more orderly levels of consciousness. The conclusion is the the ruler cannot rule with full justice, even if his own thinking is right and just, if national consciousness is not coherent and integrated. There it is the prime duty of the ruler of the nation to maintain coherence and national consciousness, and this is easy to do by maintaining a coherence-creating group and by proper education, which will provide total knowledge and will thereby unfold the full creative genius of everyone.....
All problems of government result from the violation of Natural Law by the whole population, which leads to stress in collective consiousness. Accumulated stress invevitably erupts in problems and disorderly behaviour in society. Since individual consciousness is the basic unit of national consciousness, the first responsibility of every government is to educate the citizens of the nation to think and act spontaneously in accordance with Natural Law. This can easily be accomplished by the introduction of my Vedic Science into the educational system.
When one per cent of the individuals in a nation practise Transcendental Meditation, or the square root of one per cent of the population pracitises the TM-Sidhi Programme collectively, the influence of orderliness and harmony they produce is sufficient to uplift the entire national consciousness, neutralizing negative trends and enhancing positivity throughout the nation.....
By gaining the support of the infinite organizing power of Natural Law, the administration of government through national law will rise to the level of the perfect administration of Nature through Natural Law. Through alliance with Natural Law - the Unified Field of all the Laws of Nature - all governemnt will function as effortlessly and efficiently as the Government of Nature, which administers the entire universe with perfect orderliness and without a noise....Now any government can maintain alliance with Nature's Government just by maintaining a group of professionally engaged in maintaining coherence in collective consciousness through my technology of pure intelligence, pure consciousness - my Vedic Science and Technology."

Wellness ist augenscheinlich angesagt und will dem auf Abwechslung von seinen Alltagsbelastungen bedachten Zeitgenossen ein Höchstmaß an Zufriedenheit einsuggerieren. Welches aber nicht erreicht werden kann, wenn die mentalen Voraussetzungen nicht stimmen, wenn er meint, es reiche aus, mit seiner Physis verwöhnt zu werden. Und, um zum Ende zu kommen: Weltweit ist mittlerweile schon ganz viel in eben die bezeichnete Richtung Gehendes mit bestem Erfolg realisiert worden: an Schulen und Universitäten verzeichnen die Lehrenden unter anderem auch regelmäßig einen Leistungsanstieg nach Einführung der besagten Bewusstseinstechnik.
